About Katerina Iacovides
Katerina Iacovides is a London-based photographer specializing in portrait, still life, and product photography. Alongside her commercial work, she spent 12 years as a lead technical photography instructor in London, training creative teams including Harvey Nichols, The Design Museum, Russell & Bromley, B&Q, Gems of London, and Historic England. This extensive background as an educator ensures a master-level command of studio workflows and light shaping.
Her work is defined by thoughtful composition, carefully controlled light, and a strong sensitivity to colour. With a Master’s Diploma in Graphic Design and extensive experience as a professional retoucher, she integrates an understanding of layout and brand identity into her photographic process. This allows her to collaborate closely with brands and individuals to create visuals that are both confident and striking, ensuring final imagery is perfectly primed for its end destination.
Katerina’s commercial and editorial portfolio spans fashion, jewellery, and lifestyle, with clients including Davids Road Couture, Vamp London Jewellery, Jeepers Peepers, Marreira Ferreiro Jewellery, Vinagogo Wines, Vintage Company The Collective (Cyprus), and Fair Trade. She provides a full-service creative workflow, from technical studio lighting and location staging to advanced post-production and short-form video.
Beyond commissions, Katerina pursues a conceptual fine art practice exploring identity and transformation, with work exhibited at 54 The Gallery, JM Gallery, and the Pavilion in Mile End. Her personal projects allow her to experiment with light, colour, and narrative, adding depth to her commercial work.
